Zamalek defeats the Libyan champion and qualifies for the African final for the plane


The volleyball team of Zamalek Club, led by its technical director, Mohamed El-Laqany, succeeded in defeating Al-Souahli Al-Libi 3/0 in the semi-finals of the African Clubs Championship in Tunisia, to qualify for the tournament final. The results of the rounds were as follows: 25/18, 25/19, 25/23.


The team is scheduled to rest on Monday before entering the final on Tuesday.

 

The Zamalek team succeeded in overcoming the obstacle of the Kenyan ports team with a score of 3/1 in the quarter-finals.

 

Zamalek was also able to achieve the full mark in the first round of the championship, after it succeeded in defeating the Kenyan GSU by a score of 0/3 in its first confrontation and on the Congolese Espoir in its second confrontation with the same result and finally the Nigerian customs 3/0 as well.

 

The list of players participating in the African Championship in Tunisia includes: Ahmed Youssef, Mustafa Dabsha, Ahmed Diaa, Ahmed Abdel-Al "Darunka", Muhammad Reda, Ashraf El-Laqani, Ahmed Fathy, Reda Heikal, Hisham Yousry, Rashad Shibl, Mohamed Moa, Mohamed Magdy and Mohamed Mohsen, and the Canadian professional Esteve Hunt instead of Seif Abed.
