The US President, Joe Biden encouraged all Americans to continue wearing masks to limit the spread of the Corona virus, saying in statements about the distribution of vaccines, "Now is not the time to stop, and there is light at the end of the tunnel, but the dangerous situation is not over yet, and criticizing the Trump administration's response to Pandemic, saying: We're making progress from the mess we inherited.
The president's comments came hours after Texas and Mississippi Republican governors announced plans to abandon mandates to wear masks, despite health experts ’concerns about a possible" fourth increase "in coronavirus cases.
Joe Biden added that he wants every teacher and school employee to have at least the first dose of the vaccine by the end of this month.
The US President, who has faced criticism over the continued closure of many schools, revealed that the country needs to deal with personal learning as "the essential service that it is."
Biden said after his administration announced that Merck would cooperate with Johnson & Johnson to expand production of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, that all Americans will have had the vaccine by the end of May.
The US president described the partnership between the two companies as a "major step forward" in expanding access to the vaccine for every American.
