The Speaker of the House of Representatives, the Libyan Counselor, Aguila Saleh, met in his office in the city of Qubbah, the President of the High National Elections Commission, Dr. Imad Al-Sayeh, where Saleh confirmed his full support for the commission, noting the importance of the role entrusted to it during the next phase to reach the elections scheduled for next December 24.
While the President of the High Electoral Commission, Dr. Imad Al-Sayeh, reviewed - according to a statement of the Libyan Parliament - during his meeting the technical and logistical preparations of the commission and the extent of its readiness regarding the implementation of the electoral entitlement on the specified date, with what the commission possesses of technical cadres and accumulated experience during previous electoral processes.
At the end of the meeting, the Speaker of the Libyan Parliament expressed his appreciation for all the national and international efforts that contributed to achieving the unity, sovereignty and stability of Libya, appreciating the role of the Commission and all its employees and everyone who works to support and strengthen the democratic path.
