Today, Tuesday, the Italian Ministry of Interior announced the arrival of 124 people on the coast of the country, raising the total number of arrivals by sea to Italy since the beginning of this March to 874 immigrants.
So far, 5,808 immigrants have arrived on the shores of the country since the beginning of the year, compared to 2,553 immigrants during the same period last year, while their number was only 335 immigrants in 2019.
She added that among the more than 5,800 immigrants who arrived in Italy in 2021, of whom 754 are Tunisian citizens, by 13%, then immigrants from Ivory Coast, who number 688 by 12%, then Guinea, 531 immigrants, by 9%, and Bangladesh, with 493 immigrants, by 8%. 6%, then Eritrea with 341 immigrants.
