Today, the delegation of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development headed by Major General Muhammad Ezzi, the General Supervisor of the Localities Development Project, headed to Sharkia Governorate, as part of field trips to follow up the workflow of the technology centers in the governorates.
Dr. Hala Al-Saeed, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, explained that the ministry's role in developing the performance of government services, simplifying the procedures for obtaining them, and providing better and faster service to the Egyptian citizen, stems from the axis of transparency and efficiency of government institutions in the sustainable development agenda "Egypt Vision 2030".
Al-Saeed stressed that the Ministry is keen to continue working in the technology centers in all governorates and work to overcome any obstacles that may face the progress of work in them, in addition to providing the necessary training for workers in those centers to keep pace with technological changes and to ensure the transition to the mechanization process without difficulties, and to follow up that the care to complete the process of automating services in the centers Technology comes in light of the implementation of the state's trend towards a process of digital transformation.
During the delegation’s visit to the Sharqiya Governorate, a meeting was held with the Deputy Governor, city mayors and system supervisors to present the objectives of the system for developing citizens' services and returnees. The local portal for localities and how to receive requests will also be presented, in addition to reviewing how to deal with a serious request for reconciliation to control financial proceeds and monitor any arrears on customers The total of the arrears, and the mechanization of all 19 centers and cities in the governorate has been completed, and the General Bureau will be studied.
It is worth noting that the delegation of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development visited the governorate of Giza during this week and held a meeting with officials of financial and legal affairs in the governorate, the Giza city council and managers of technological centers to start the work of the unified guide and help to standardize fees and documents for all services provided by the governorate.
The delegation also visited the Governorate of Dakahlia, and a meeting was held at the Governorate’s General Office with city heads and supervisors of the system for 6 cities to introduce the importance of mechanization and what was implemented in the governorate.
The delegation also visited the city of West Shubra Al-Khaima to find out the level of performance and operation of the centers and discuss the difficulties facing the system’s administrators and to familiarize the system’s supervisors with updates on the program, and the city of Toukh was also visited, accompanied by Dr. Iman Rayan, Deputy Governor, to hold a meeting with the directors of departments and follow up on the work of training applications.
