Government officials announced that Disneyland, owned by the Walt Disney Company and closed since March, will become the first major COVID-19 vaccination site in Orange County, California, USA.
County officials said in a statement that Disneyland will become the county's first large vaccination site, and will go into operation this week.
The province will announce other major vaccination sites after the required arrangements are made.
"Disneyland Resort is proud to contribute to supporting Orange County and the City of Anaheim by using our facilities, and we are grateful to them for all of their efforts to combat COVID-19," Disney Parks Health Officer Pamela Himal said in an email statement.
