Mail Official: 150 integrated centers nationwide providing Egypt digital services

The Egypt digital platform has achieved tremendous success since its trial launch at the end of August of last year, and the total of those who registered their data on the platform exceeded 1.5 million citizens within 8 months benefiting from providing government services online without the hassle of going to government agencies and standing in line for hours. To perform the service, however, many citizens asked how to benefit from the platform's services for those unable to use technology?

Post offices have become a platform to provide e-government services after developing and transforming them into integrated postal service centers and providing them with the latest systems and advanced technological solutions, through which citizens can obtain real estate registration services, pay traffic offenses, obtain clearance and pay electricity, water and gas bills, in addition to many Other financial and postal services provided by Egypt Post.

In this regard, Bayoumi Al-Qattan, head of the East Cairo regions sector at the Egyptian Post Authority, said that the government launched the Egypt digital platform, which is a website and mobile application to facilitate access to government services for citizens, as part of the digital transformation strategy in line with Egypt Vision 2030, adding that Utilizing the platform requires either the citizen's ability to deal with technology or the identification of a strategic channel for citizen cooperation in dealing with the platform, and the Postal Authority was chosen as a platform for providing digital services.

Al-Qattan added that 150 post centers have been allocated at the level of Egyptian Post as a first stage to provide the services of the Egypt digital platform, and 300 employees have been trained in each service center to provide the services of the Egypt digital platform, which includes the services of 5 government agencies, namely, supply, traffic, documentation and courts. Citizens who are unable to deal with technology may benefit from these services through integrated postal services centers, as the postal employee will help him to perform these services easily.
