Noha Nihad, Executive Director of the Furniture Export Council, announced that the Jordanian market is the sixth market that receives Egyptian furniture imports, noting the importance of constant communication with the Jordanian side to discuss finding new means to increase trade cooperation in the furniture sector between the two countries.
In turn, Muhammad Alaa, Director of Government Services for the Furniture Export Council, reviewed during an electronic seminar organized by the Council today, with the participation of representatives from the Jordanian side and in the presence of Mona Abboud, Head of the Trade Office in Jordan, the most important figures about Egypt's furniture exports to Jordan, which recorded 11 million dollars during the year 2020 compared to 13 million Dollar in 2019, down 15%
He explained during the electronic seminar held today, that the exports of mattresses recorded 400 thousand dollars during 2020, up from 200 thousand dollars in 2019, and manufactured wood recorded nearly one hundred thousand dollars in 2020, and other wooden products recorded an average of 50 thousand dollars as export rates to Jordan.
