Workers of the "Alitalia" company, Italian Airlines, which suspended its activities and entered the liquidation, began demonstrations that will last for a few days in Olbia, in front of the district building in Sardinia.
The demonstration, which will continue until February 13, sparked a split in the trade union front, as it was organized at the invitation of the Pilots Authority, Cobes, Usb and Anpav associations, while other trade unions opposed this demonstration, including Cgil, Cisl, Uil and Ugl, according to the agency " Ansa "Italian.
The regional advisor to the Five Stars Movement, Roberto Li Guiue, commented that the dispute regarding Air Italy workers, who are threatened with losing their work, should be dealt with in the best available way, and through a strong front and a response that allows it to be resolved in the fastest time and with the best desired conditions.
Li Jiwei called for the birth of a common front to struggle against this decision, adding: "A call has been made for the unification of the objectives of the political forces and all the trade union representatives, so that there is no possibility of any weakening in the battle."
And Roberto Lee Jiwei said that there are 1,465 jobs threatened between Olbia and Milan, including 550 in Sardinia, adding that these workers benefit from social safety nets until June 30th.
