Export councils in their various sectors seek to develop marketing and promotional plans dynamically to develop quick solutions to any obstacles facing export and open new markets to compensate for any decline in exports in a specific market due to the Corona crisis, which ensures the maximization of export values.
In an inventory of the most important export rates over the 11 months from January 2020 to November, Egyptian food industry exports came to achieve positive growth during the period from January to November 2020, with exports amounting to $ 3.2 billion, achieving a growth rate of 1% compared to exports for the same period of 2019. Food industries' exports represent 13.2% of total Egyptian non-oil exports, and it ranks third in the list of the most important Egyptian export sectors during the period from January to November 2020.
Chemical industries exports also increased in the 10 months from 2020 to October to record about 4 billion and 165 million dollars, and it is expected to reach more than 5 billion dollars, to occupy the second place as the second largest council in terms of export volume.
Plastic products, plastics and rubber products came in first place, with exports amounting to 1.478 billion dollars, fertilizers came in second place, with exports amounting to 1.147 billion dollars, and carton and paper products came in third place, with exports amounting to 408.65 million dollars, and organic non-chemical products came fourth. As the volume of exports reached 252.37 million dollars, and detergents came in the fifth place, with the volume of their exports reaching about 183.91 million dollars.
Exports of the printing, packaging, paper, books and artistic works increased in 11 months to reach about $ 509 million compared to $ 509 million, and the export earnings were concentrated in the top 10 countries that acquire Egyptian products from the sector, led by Britain and Northern Ireland, whose exports reached $ 54 million.
The most prominent products and commodities that were exported are paper products such as wrapping paper, paperboard, cardboard, toilet paper, notebooks and notes, in addition to books and packing and packaging bags.
The Engineering Industries Export Council announced that exports rose in the 5 months from July to November of last 2020, by 6%, recording $ 1.11 billion, compared to $ 1.05 billion in the same period of the previous fiscal year 2019/2020.
He said that the exports of engineering industries witnessed a rise in November 2020, recording 229.6 million countries compared to 187.3.
